BCSTA Climate Action Survey
The Board passed a motion to refer the BCSTA Climate Action Survey to the Climate Action Committee.
Lansdowne South Campus Land Disposal Update
At Monday night鈥檚 Board meeting, the Board approved the third reading of the Disposal Bylaw to sell 1.28 acres of Lansdowne Middle School – South Campus to the 糖心视频污 Hospice Society for $2.5 million.
Pending the Minster鈥檚 approval, the proceeds from the surplus lands will provide funding to renovate and replace existing Greater 糖心视频污 schools, including advancing the District鈥檚 climate action initiatives. 糖心视频污 Hospice Society plans to use 1.28 acres of the property to develop a new home for 糖心视频污 Hospice, while the remaining lands will be used to expand and make improvements to Bowker Creek.
